Octopath Traveler 2 (PC) - Part 62: The Ku Coup (Hikari Chapter 5)

With his army and his arsenal at the ready, the time has finally come for Hikari to take the fight directly to Mugen's front door! Initially, there appears to be a missing piece of the puzzle, but after Kazan blows a tornado through the front gate and Hikari rings the bell, the missing piece falls into place as Rai Mei and her clan fight off the main force as Hikari heads into the castle.

Inside the castle is a four-part boss rush, like Olberic's Chapter 2 in the first game. First, Hikari must fight now-General Ritsu one more time. Then he gains entry to the throne room where King Mugen awaits. After taking him down, the darkness inside Hikari speaks to him again, which Mugen sees as well. After a one-on-one duel with his inner demon, Mugen gives in to his own inner darkness, which transforms him into The Enshrouded King. After one more final battle, Mugen is overthrown, Hikari becomes the new king of Ku, and there are clear skies ahead.

Thus ends the story of Hikari the Warrior.
