Just when you thought she couldn’t more directly contradict reality, chief White House flack Karine Jean-Pierre claimed Monday: “When it comes to illegal migration, you’ve seen it come down by more than 90%” under President Biden.

The “fact” behind that bull was a brief drop in migrants from a few select nations; the overall claim is an utter inversion of reality.

Fiscal 2022 ended with close to 2.38 million migrant encounters, the highest ever, topping Biden’s massive first fiscal-year record-setter of almost 1.96 million.

Multiple tips to diplomats and law enforcement that might explain a whistleblower claim describing President Biden taking bribes have emerged — as the White House said Thursday it had “nothing” to say about the matter.

House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) issued a subpoena Wednesday requiring the FBI to hand over an informant report that describes “an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions.”

Corruption in Canada worst in a decade, finds international watchdog

Canada has, once again, slipped down an international ranking for corruption, standing at 13th in the world and well back of world leaders, such as Denmark, New Zealand and Singapore.

Since 2015, the year Liberal leader Justin Trudeau became Prime Minister, Canada has fallen nine points, to a score of 74 out of 100 on the Transparency International's 2021 Corruption Perceptions Index. No country has seen a bigger drop in ratings since 2017 than Canada.
