Fix Your Garden by Testing the Soil!

We suffer from bad soil. Really bad. So we’re going to test our soil to see what it’s lacking, because at this point, plant growth is either stunted once seedlings are planted or they just yellow and die altogether.

We purchased this test kit which checks the levels pH, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium so we can do it ourselves without having to send the samples to a lab. Once we figure out what our garden is missing, this kit also gives advice on how to adjust to the proper levels.

Now we have a good jumping off point and can begin fertilizing and composting our garden to get things back on track.
