Society is Sick, NOT Gamers | Video Game Violence Cringe
2 years ago
2
The effect of video game violence on gamers (especially the youth) has been debated endlessly. A lot of parents don't want to take responsibility for their lack of involvement in their children's lives. Video games, like any other form of entertainment, are a product of the society that produces them. Video games are a response to the crazy world we live in. As the world gets more chaotic, forms of entertainment must compete to the same degree in order for there to be sufficient "escape" from daily life. This news segment is cringe because it takes itself too seriously, and it starts off by clarifying that this guy isn't dangerous simply because he is a gamer.
