How to Backup your Keybinding before Update 15 // Elite Dangerous Odyssey

Update 15 is nearly here and before updating commanders should backup their keybindings. In this video, I will show you how to back up your key bindings in Elite Dangerous Odyssey before installing an update. This is an important step to take, as updates can sometimes overwrite your custom key bindings.

To back up your key bindings, follow these steps:

Open Windows Explorer.
Navigate to the following folder:

C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

Right-click the Bindings folder and select Copy.
Paste the Bindings folder to a safe location on your computer.
Once you have backed up your key bindings, you can safely install any updates to Elite Dangerous Odyssey. If your key bindings are overwritten, you can simply restore them from your backup.
