Passengers panic as smoke creeps in London tube

Passengers on a northbound Tube train in London were forced to smash windows and pry open doors to escape from smoke-filled carriages at Clapham Common station on Friday evening. There were no reports of injuries, but witnesses described the scene as chaotic and frightening, with people screaming and shouting to be let out. The issue is believed to have been caused by brake dust, according to London's British Transport Police. The fire brigade attended but confirmed there was no fire.
