SECU Meeting 63: MISINFORMED ❌

New amendments G 3.1 & G 3.2 were introduced by Liberal Pam Damoff as debate resumed on the 'handgun ban' legislation, Bill C-21. During their introduction, Ms. Damoff stated that rimfire ammunition was most commonly used for hunting, which was quickly called out as misinformation by Conservative Alex Ruff.

Raquel Dancho & Doug Shipley added their voices to defend law abiding firearms owners during debate. They also called out the Liberals for slandering the Conservative party.

Glen Motz made a bold attempt to move a motion to send C-21 back to Parliament, which would require the Speaker rule on the scope of the bill.
