This video aims to show you all how you can easily activate any PKG formatted games to install on your PS3 console using PS3HEN's on the fly activation features. Version 2.0.2 of PS3HEN introduced this feature which allows you to painlessly activate any PKG games you have, assuming you have matching license files for them. Unlike the previous HAN method of repacking and resigning these games to your specific console, this method requires no additional processing of your files!

This tutorial will cover how to perform this all from a flash drive, however if you wish to load your RAP activation files from your hard drive, you can do so by placing the RAP files in "/dev_hdd0/exdata/" on any version of PS3HEN 2.1.0 or higher. If your game is a C00 type of licensed game as opposed to a traditionally licensed game with a RAP file, this will also show you how to activate your C00 type games as well!

This guide assumes you already have a console with at minimum PS3HEN 2.0.2 installed and running on it, however I will have my guide linked lower in the description showing how to get set up with HEN on any model PS3. Remember this is not a CFW, however HEN does an excellent job helping to bridge the gap for people who want homebrew access without needing a CFW capable console!

Finally, this method is intended for backup purposes. The games demonstrated within this tutorial are games I own and have been selected for that reason. You are responsible for obtaining your own files for use with this method. No assistance can be provided in regards to sourcing these files.
