Talking About the Analogue Mega Sg with Sean - A Worthy Sega Genesis Clone?

Analogue has made themselves known for recreating retro consoles using FPGA components, blending together a mix of classic gaming goodness with current day solutions. With the NES and SNES under their belt, the next console to tackle was the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive! In comes the Mega Sg, a new take on Sega's classic 16-bit console. No emulation to be found here, but no original hardware out of the box either, making this a clone console. With that being said, could this be the Sega Genesis clone to scoop up, or would you be better off finding an original system?
