Is Gohan's new "Beast" form related to Super Saiyan God??

#dragonball fans got to see yet a new form in #dragonballsupersuperhero with #gohan becoming what fans are referring to as #beastgohan but what is the form? Dragonball fans are well aware that Gohan has latent power which seems never-ending. #dragonballz fans will remember Mystic Gohan from the Buu arc, but the form was never really explained. Gohan is the only #saiyan to achieve that mystic form, but he may have only been the first Saiyan to be exposed to god ki. Jake's theory is that Gohan's new form is similar to Super Saiyan God, but it's presumed that Gohan never went through the ritual, but was exposed to God ki by the Supreme Kai during the Buu saga.
