EA Reported Profits Then Layoffs Staff

Last January EA or Electronic Arts reported a profit of 1.3 Billion dollars on its latest fiscal quarters. EA CEO specifically mentions The Sims 4, EA Sports FIFA 23, and Apex Legends for the success. However despite the success 6 percent of the global workforce has been laid off. CEO says EA is “gaining momentum” then fires people some workers may be reassigned to other projects those who aren’t will get severance pay and “additional benefits.” If you guys remember they fired 200 QA testers for Apex. Legends
