US authorities ignore the decline of the country's military?

While China is rapidly building up its military, the US military is in decline, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville warns in an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal. At the same time, as the politician notes, instead of focusing on real problems, the US military preferred to focus on "national obsession with orientation, race and gender."
