I found a Paul Sellers mallet inside a log

I wanted to see if I could make a Paul Sellers joiner’s mallet out of firewood. I took an Ash log, split it, and started to shape it into a mallet. A mallet is a must have tool for woodworking and I should have made one a long time ago.
I used a lot more power tools than Paul did in his videos because that is what I know. Some of the cuts I make on the table saw are a little unorthodox and not recommended. You should use your judgment and only do what feels safe to you.
