How to Update Your Original Xbox Softmod to Rocky5's Xbox Softmodding Tool

Let's return to Xbox softmods! There's countless different softmod setups and installers out there, but by far the best setup to date is Xbox Softmodding Tool by Rocky5. This tool cleans up a lot of the backend processes, fixes what many previous softmods did not do correctly, and is by far the most stable, easy to use, and feature rich softmod setup out there. While this is an excellent tool for many first time softmodders out there, what about users who softmodded their console eons ago and don't know what they have? What if you can't remember what softmod installer you used, what Dashboard version you're on, or even if you backed up your EEPROM? Don't worry, this tool has you covered.

This tutorial aims to easily show you how to burn off a copy of Rocky5's Xbox Softmodding Tool Extras Disc and completely update your softmod setup in a few simple steps. There are other methods of running this without having to burn a disc, which are detailed on his Github page. I chose this method due to simplicity, if you want to use another method which does not involve burning a DVD you're welcome to do so!
