Resident Evil 4,[note 1] known in Japan as Biohazard RE:4 (バイオハザード RE:4 Baiohazādo Fō?), is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. It is a remake of Resident Evil 4, originally released in 2005 for the Nintendo GameCube. It was released on March 24, 2023 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.[1][2][3] The plot follows Leon S. Kennedy, the special agent of the United States government, who is sent on a mission to rescue Ashley Graham, daughter of the American president, who has been kidnapped by a macabre sect.
