WE DID THIS FUN BACKPACKING AND EXTREME FISHING ADVENTURE, ENJOYING OVERNIGHT FOREST CAMPING FOR 7 DAYS TO CATCH WILD FISH, & COOK 'EM.

Our wilderness hiking began on top of a beautiful canyon and we descended 750 feet to an epic river camp in the deep woods. After setting up we began catching smallmouth, brown and rainbow trout.

Up with the sun to a full day of angling, hooking a combined 60 smallies, bows, apache and browns. Then cooking and eating a delicious beer batter fish n' chips dinner.

Yet another sunrise to sunset of catching and releasing many 2, 3 and almost 4 lbs browns. While in between the landing of the trophy toads we snared some big bass to fish fry with tempura and eat another amazing meal. It's worth mentioning, we ran into a black bear that was of good size.

The next morning, afternoon & evening was absolutely incredible! We finished it off with yummy campfire cooked fish.

And the hits keep on coming, more monster browns, smallies and tank rainbows, the later ones we took many fillets from. Then deep fried them in Cavender's All Purpose Greek Seasoning, spectacular!

The final full day was filled with more savory fish that were in a different league.

Our hike straight up and out was a beast.

In recollecting the special times in these mountains we recall the breathtaking views, the beyond words canyon river and the unreal catching that allowed each of us to obtain many a personal best.
