How to Jailbreak Your PS4 on Firmware 4.55 or Lower! | PS4 HEN Tutorial

This step-by-step guide will show you how to quickly and easily get PS4 HEN running on a PlayStation 4 running firmware 4.55! This tutorial works for the original PS4, PS4 Slim, and PS4 Pro as long as the firmware 4.55 is installed on the system. You CANNOT downgrade your PS4 to a lower firmware, if you are on a higher firmware your only choices are to wait for further updates to come to higher firmwares or to purchase another PS4 on 4.55 or lower.

The method of installation covered here involves directing your PS4's DNS settings to either your own self-hosted server on your own network, or another user's server, which hosts the payloads needed to jailbreak the console. This video will show both methods and will guide you through how to set everything up on your console, optionally on your PC, disable network firmware updates, enable the Internet Browser, install HEN, and installing games or homebrew in PKG format! Once everything is prepared, you must launch the HEN payload every time you coldboot or restart your console either through User's Guide or the Internet Browser. Once HEN is loaded, you can enter your Debug Settings and run any PKG files you have installed to the console.
