Installed a spark plug non-fouler on the O2 sensor(Oxygen sensor). It is the sensor after the exhaust manifold.

Friend could not pass smog test.
First he asked me to replace the Oxygen sensor with a new sensor and see if it will solve the P0420 code.
After replacing it, test drove for 50 miles and the same code came on.

He then bought a fouler because he saw it worked on other vehicles from watching videos in Youtube. I was skeptical it would work.

I had to drill a bigger hole on the fouler so the sensor can seat fully down into the fouler.
I had put the fouler to the original sensor and installed it back to the exhaust system. Test drove for 36 miles. No check engine light. Catalyst monitor is OK but Oxygen sensor monitor and Evap monitor was incomplete.

So I made the car sit till the next morning. Checked the monitors again and the Evap monitor cleared. Here in Vegas, I know you can get your car smog tested with 1 monitor incomplete. By knowing that yourself. You will need a scan tool like mine.

I then immediately drove it to get it smog tested and it passed.
