Rather than your soul and spirit growing larger and greater as, in the pre-Zuckerbergian era, you might encounter new art, uplifting literature, and even profound feelings of nature when you, say, walk–with no phone–in the woods (or whatever), you instead are constantly dumbed down and stupid-ized by algorithms forever narrowing your view of the world, reflecting some of your worst intentions back to you, while shrinking your mind and killing your spirit.

You search one day for "vegetables", the next day for "superheroes", and pretty soon you see Christopher Reeves popping up in your feed. This is not expanding your world view or mind, it's stupidifying you.
