Super Bomberman 5, released by Hudson Soft in early 1997, was the last game in the series for the SNES. Two types of cartridges were launched, the normal cartridge and the gold cartridge. The gold cartridge contains extra maps unlocked in battle mode.
History
The story begins when an evil bomber named Emperor Terrorin, who holds the power of time, frees several bombers from their prisons that orbit around Planet Bomber. Bomberman, a white bomber and the main character of the series, must defeat the outlaws in order to reach the Emperor and restore peace to his planet.
