Creation! This is as foundational as it gets, but what do we know or understand about the creation? In the first statement made in Genesis or as the Hebrews call it, “the Book of the Beginning”, we read, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” This statement begets a myriad of questions. The beginning of what? The universe or simply the heaven and the earth? Is this the important question or is it more about the creation of mankind? What does it mean by the heaven and the earth?
