How to make Crispy french fries??
Here's a recipe for crispy french fries:
Ingredients:
2-3 large potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips
2-3 cups of vegetable oil
Salt, to taste
Instructions:
Soak the potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Preheat the oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 375°F.
Working in batches, carefully add the potatoes to the hot oil and fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
Use a slotted spoon or spider to remove the fries from the oil and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.
Season the fries with salt while they are still hot and serve immediately.
Tips for Crispy French Fries:
Make sure to cut the potatoes into thin and uniform strips for even cooking.
Soaking the potatoes in cold water helps to remove excess starch, which can make the fries soggy.
Pat the potatoes dry with a paper towel before frying to remove any excess water.
Fry the potatoes in small batches to ensure that they cook evenly and don't stick together.
Season the fries with salt immediately after they come out of the fryer while they are still hot and crispy.
