"Look after" means "to take care of someone or something."
Example #1: I asked my sister to look after the cat while we're gone on vacation.
Example #2: Any chance you can look after the kids on Saturday night?
Example #3: You could tell that the car had been well looked after.
Example #4: If you look after your clothes they last a lot longer.
Example #5: People don't look after other people's property in the same way as they look after their own.
