Elypse is a side-scrolling action platformer video game developed by Hot Chili Games and published by PID Games.
The game is set in a dark and gloomy world filled with traps and dangers, and players will have to fight their destiny in an arduous platforming experience. The game is a 2D Metroidvania combining platforming and action that takes place in the depths of an infernal world. The game's story revolves around a sacrifice that must be made every ten years to protect people from the Abyss, a place as worshiped as it is feared.
The player takes on the role of a victim who was chosen and thrown into the darkness, and nobody has ever returned from the Abyss. The game will be available on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GoG on May 17, 2023.
