By staying involved in an abusive relationship you will start doing things to protect yourself from the pain, the insults, the gaslighting, and the trauma that is going to happen to you for being in the abusive relationship.

Once you start this terrible habit of pacifying the demonic abuser to keep them calm you have put an end to you having a loving, peaceful, healthy, happy, joyful, life.
