Man under arrest for setting woman on fire

Police arrested a 23-year-old man for aggravated arson Thursday after a woman was set on fire inside a Fairfield Township home. Fairfield Township police said crews responded to a home on the 2600 block of Arroyo Ridge at around 10:30 a.m. Thursday for the report of a woman on fire in a backyard. When they arrived, they found one woman with severe burns. She was airlifted to UC Medical Center in critical condition, Fire Chief Timothy Thomas said. Robbi Davon Robinson Jr., who resides at the same home, was booked into the Butler County Jail for first-degree aggravated arson and second-degree felonious assault. Investigators said the woman jumped from the second-story window while on fire.
