Alien rock causes cosmic disturbance in New Jersey home

A New Jersey home’s residents were left startled when a potential meteorite crashed through their roof, rebounded off the hardwood floor, and left a dent in the ceiling before settling down.

Fortunately, nobody was harmed during this bizarre incident that occurred on Monday afternoon at a residence on Old Washington Crossing Pennington Road in Hopewell Township. The object, estimated to be 4″ by 6″ in size, seems to be made of metal.

Suzy Kop, the owner, mentioned to a CBS affiliate that nobody was present in the house at the time. Initially, she thought that someone had thrown a rock through the window, the Register reported.
