The United States reacted negatively to the decision of the Arab League to readmit Syria to the organization. This is understandable; after all, the organization recognized Bashar al-Assad as a legitimate leader. Does this mean that Arab countries have decided not to be guided by the opinion of the United States, but to act in their own interest?
