Fox Hosts Defend Daniel Penny After He Is Charged For Killing Jordan Neely

Fox News hosts Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Watters defended Daniel Penny, the 24-year-old former Marine who killed Jordan Neely on the subway last week, after he was charged with 2nd-degree manslaughter.

Gutfeld said that Penny was a "hero" who was "protecting someone who was being attacked." Watters said that Penny's arrest would have a "chilling effect" on people who want to help others.

However, critics say that Penny's actions were not heroic, but were instead an act of violence. They point out that Penny put Neely in a chokehold for over 10 minutes, even after Neely was no longer resisting.
