a horrifying thought that I might be designing some excuse for poor behaviour of a theological cult doctrine came to mind and I thought I'd clarify my position
also, note: I include nazis as leftist
we see in BLM racism so nazi racism isn't necessarily right wing but possibly left wing, and nationalism was done by the left in french revolution as well so it's a neutral position

stalin's penchant for purging communists and his own countrymen
pol pot's disdain for dissident intellectuals
