Extinction Rebellion called on mothers to "rise up for climate justice" a day before the "Mother's Day" celebrations around the world.

The group demonstrated in front of The National Gallery in The Company's Garden on the morning of May 12.

"We are mothers, grandmothers, aunties, sisters, daughters and allies around the world.

We know that those least responsible for the climate crisis are also the most impacted.

We believe in the power of mothers and caregivers to demand climate justice.," they said.
