On September 11, the Node brothers set out to shoot another batch of material for their documentary about a newcomer's work in one of the New York fire brigades. Naudet had been working on the film for several months, and it so happened that the fire brigade, in which they were filming and who worked that morning at the signal of the smell of gas, witnessed the first ram, and Jules Naudet was almost the only one who captured this moment on the film. After the first explosion, the brothers split up: Gideon filmed everything that happened outside, and Jules, along with the firefighters, went inside one of the skyscrapers. The film, shot by Jules, shows numerous teams of firefighters continuously entering the building- as you know, most of them will never return. Jules Naudet managed to leave the tower a few minutes before its fall. Both brothers considered each other dead.
