Tokyo bitterling (Tanakia_tanago)

The Tokyo bitterling (Tanakia tanago) is a temperate freshwater fish of the carp family (Cyprinidae).

In the wild, this fish is found only on the Kantō Plain of Japan, an area near the capital city, Tokyo.
