John Wick: Chapter 5

John Wick 5 isn't officially going to happen, but after the huge opening for John Wick: Chapter 4, it's certainly looking likelier.

Back in August 2020, it was announced that the fourth and fifth movie would film back-to-back. That never happened and since Chapter 4 ends the way it does, it was thought that was that for Keanu Reeves' no-longer-retired hitman.

However, the fourth movie enjoyed a record-breaking box office debut and now Lionsgate chair Joe Drake has said a fifth movie could happen. "There's a will and there's an openness," he told The Hollywood Reporter.

"And you could certainly interpret that ending in different ways. We're all going to take a tiny rest here and then scratch at ideas about whether there's a credible way to get into five. But there's no guarantee.

"Keanu and Chad [Stahelski], rightly so, are very protective about never screwing with the audience. So we certainly have our work cut out for us."

Whether or not you think a fifth movie should happen is up to you, but it certainly can't be ruled out right now. So with that in mind, here's everything you need to know about a potential John Wick 5.
