What is the Spirit Saying?

In today’s live stream, Joseph informs us of what the Spirit of God is saying. He reveals that there’s a sense that people are looking for prophecy, but there’s a unique sensitivity that God requires of everyone, and that is, to follow the voice of the spirit of God. He admonishes people who’ve got the spirit of entitlement and cautions that, it was this same spirit that led to the devil’s downfall. He discloses that the spirit of God is calling us to draw near to God and He’ll draw near to us, as we’re called to drive the devil out of our nation and out of the lives of our children. He cautions that we’re doing the devil’s work for him when we attack one another.

Moving on, Joseph teaches that there’re four different parts to prophecy, and he explains this further with the word of God drawn from the book of Psalm 17:15. He went on to teach that when we recognize that God is calling us to a higher capacity, the deception parameter will become more difficult to judge; he encourages us to stick to the word of God to overcome. Additionally, he clarifies that real prophetic people are humble, loving, and righteous, while false prophets are proud, unteachable, greedy, and they know exactly what they’re doing. He advises us to judge them by their fruits and not by the accuracy of their prophecies.

Interestingly, Joseph opens our eyes to the fact that, sometimes, people have gifts they’re born with, and their gifts can still be effective outside of Christ but it’s dangerous because they become beclouded with what they can get from it. He also clarified that the spirit of the Lord is always accurate, although prophets may miss the message sometimes, it doesn’t make God a liar; it’s just that the message wasn’t discerned and interpreted as correctly as it should have been by the messenger.

Furthermore, Joseph exposes that there is no private interpretation of the Scripture, and anybody that is above correction needs to be checked. He answered questions about the differences between a prophet and the prophetic and explained this further with the word of God taken from I Corinthians 14. He then further explained that the office of the prophet is defined by the responsibility to govern, and give clarity for the Church. He then reassures us that there’ll be a right-sizing and provisions coming for the prophetic and for those who trust in God.
