China Can’t Keep Doing This…

You might think that the Chinese Communist Party had found all the ways it could make its citizens miserable. But in it's pursuit to become more North Korea-ish than North Korea, it's rolling out more law enforcement to police agriculture. Derisively called "nongguan" or rural management officers by netizens, these legalized thugs are no better than the urban management officers or chengguan who have been known to beat street vendors to death over trivial issues. In this episode of China Uncensored, we look at the sinister reason the CCP wants nongguan, the horror stories of nongguan terrorizing the people, and how China's agricultural policies have ruined its food supply.
