Glenn Edward Greenwald is an American journalist, author and lawyer. In 2014 he co-founded The Intercept, of which he was editor until his resignation in October 2020. After that, Greenwald began publishing on Substack.

His work helped The Guardian win the Pulitzer Prize in 2014, and he was awarded the George Polk Award in 2013 along with three other reporters, including Laura Poitras.
