The Green Hornet is an American radio adventure series that debuted in 1936 and introduced the character of the Green Hornet, a masked vigilante.

January 31, 1936 marked the beginning of what would later be known as one of the most iconic old radio shows during golden age of radio. The Green Hornet was originally aired on station WXYZ in Detroit. This crime-fighting series followed the adventures of Britt Reid, a wealthy young journalist and his faithful side-kick Kato.
