Bondage

Have you ever been or are you currently bound? Music by Send Rain.

We are literally coming down to the wire and I wanted to make sure none of you are under the yoke of bondage when the Lord returns?

How can you tell if you are under bondage, easy, your peace is gone? The Holy Spirit keeps nudging you, hey, we need to take care of this?

John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

I love this passage because of the opposite truth, “If the truth will set you free, then error will bind you.”

Anything that has you in bondage is error, anything that is robbing you of your peace is error.

Anything that is rubbing against your conscience is error.

Have you ever been driving down the highway and noticed where a car has hit the guardrail?

It's all bent and maybe a couple of the wooden posts are broken?

Well it's still their but is is weaker than it was, if another car hits it in the same place and does more damage still, it's weaker still and in jeopardy of failing?

Finally if a third car hits the same place it will probably fail and the car will go through it and over the edge down into the canyon.

That's the way your conscience works, if you are in error and bound long enough it becomes normal? Error comes in three forms, people, places, and things?

Are you in total peace or has some error slipped in?

Mat 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
