Van Buren: ep 113. Andrew Jones - Singer and Songwriter

Andrew Jones (an Aledo, Texas-based Americana singer and songwriter) has been performing around Texas since 2000. Andrew plays at a lot of wineries, distilleries and breweries and other outdoor event venues.

Brookhaven (his first 5-piece band) played regularly at venues in North Central Texas. To date, Andrew has written many songs and opened up for Ely Young Band (Grandview, TX) and Daryl Dodd (Granbury, TX), and the pavillion stage at Smirnoff Music Center in 2003 before the Toby Keith concert.

Andrews' crafted songs are mostly comprised of real life experiences. Andrew served in the U.S. Army, has worked many hours in the Texas oilfields, along with other jobs and playing music in North Texas venues. These jobs have provided him with a ton of first-hand knowledge upon which to write some first class Americana songs.
