Rep. Malliotakis: We have too many problems right now to be talking about George Santos

Representative Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) told CNN on Wednesday that the sooner Representative George Santos (R-NY) leaves Congress, the better. “We have too many problems right now dealing with the debt crisis, dealing with this border crisis to be talking about George Santos,” said Rep. Malliotakis. Representative Robert Garcia (D-CA) introduced a resolution to expel Rep. Santos one week after the congressman pled not guilty to thirteen federal charges ranging from financial fraud to misuse of campaign funds.
