Unsurprisingly, New York City ranks last, with a hundred thousand dollar salary resulting in a take-home pay of thirty-five grand. Honolulu, HI and San Francisco, CA follow suit at thirty-six thousand dollars. The majority of cities will leave you with a take-home pay ranging from 65 to 75 thousand dollars. Seven out of the top 10 cities are in Texas, at over eighty thousand dollars. And the city where a 100,000 dollar salary stretches the furthest is Memphis, Tennessee, at eighty-six thousand dollars take-home.
