The Time Traveling Pocket Watch

Henry is a man with a fascination for antique items. One day, he stumbles upon an ancient pocket watch at a flea market. The watch doesn't work, but he is drawn to it and buys it anyway. He takes it home, placing it on his bedside table.

That night, he is woken up by a faint ticking noise. It is coming from the watch. He picks it up, surprised. The hands are moving, but they are moving counterclockwise. The hour hand is spinning fast, pointing to 7, then 6, then 5. He drops the watch in shock, but the ticking continues.

Panicked, he picks up his phone, only to notice that it too is going backwards. It reads May 17th, it had been May 18th when he went to bed. He looks at the digital clock on his wall, and it too is ticking back, from 3:45 AM to 3:44 AM.

Suddenly, he feels a strange sensation and looks at his hands. They are starting to look younger, the wrinkles disappearing, his skin becoming smoother. He rushes to the mirror and sees a man in his twenties staring back at him. The ticking of the watch grows louder, and he feels himself becoming shorter, his clothes growing too big for him.

He wants to scream, but his voice comes out as a child's, high and scared. The watch continues to tick, each tick sucking away a bit more of his life, bringing him closer to the beginning of his existence. As the world around him morphed and changed, he is left wondering if he will disappear when the watch reaches its beginning, or if he will have a chance to live his life all over again.
