What Happens If You Put Vegetable Oil In Your Engine? (You Won't Believe It!)

Can a car run on vegetable oil instead of engine oil? In todays video we find out using my 1994 Ford Ranger with over 160K miles on the clock. Granted, this truck is known to be able to take a beating 😂

All we used in this video was 1 1/4 gallon of vegetable oil which equates to about 5 quarts of oil which is what the 2.4L engine in this Ranger takes during an oil change (and a new filter of course) My ranger had not gotten an oil change since 2016 (per the oil filter) so it was definitely due for one. How will it run using vegetable oil?
