Parent asks Denver Public Schools for help with student skipping class; district says it can't

A Denver parent reached out to Denver7 because his child had more than 100 absences in the past three years, and DPS has done little to keep him in the classroom. The district responded, "we are not allowed to punish for attendance anymore."
