You Get to Pick Your Own Slavery

Romans 6:11-23

Today we wrap up chapter 6, that like the Bob Dylan song, we all have to serve somebody, whether it be the devil or the Lord. Paul's contention is that being a slave to love in Jesus Christ is the bigger, better deal than the one we had been working with before Christ. He also reminds us that we are essentially free (a seeming conflict), but our freedom allows us to be a willing slave to a master whose biggest thought towards us is love and the grace through faith he offers.
