Another Escape of Virology

Friends, in this video, I am joined once again by Marvin Haberland. We met to discuss Marvin's recent court case against virology. As you may recall, during the peak of the so-called "Covid-19 pandemic," Marvin deliberately incurred fines for not wearing a mask in Germany. His intention was to challenge the anti-science of virology in court. His argument was that since virology does not adhere to the scientific method, any fines issued under German infectious disease law are illegal. On April 26, a trial was held in which the judge infamously capitulated, dismissing Marvin's case. This is despite the fact that the judge labeled Marvin a "repeat offender" for being "unreasonable" about "protective" measures in the past and Marvin made it clear in this trial that would continue to be so in the future. The logical consequence should have been a stiffer sentence, but despite this, the judge dismissed Marvin's case. Thus, Marvin won and did not have to pay the fine.

While this is not exactly a desirable outcome, since Marvin would have preferred to pay the fine and appeal to a higher court, because Marvin sought a formal statement from the judge that virologists should, but are not required to, work according to the scientific method. This implies that they are not obligated to comply with the German Law of Infectious Disease, which nullifies any claim that virology has anything to do with science.
Sentencing Marvin and allowing him to appeal to a higher court would be counterproductive for virology. Its scientific basis would inevitably be discussed there, and such a trial would attract much more public attention. That's why it's much easier for them to close the case at the first level, allowing Marvin to win and freeing him from paying the fine. In any case, closing the case at the first level is a clear demonstration that the court agrees that the fines for not wearing masks and all measures related to Covid were illegal.
