Pride, Biblical Counseling

There is a good kind of pride. One can be proud of the Lord and becoming a Christian. One can be proud of one's children and spouse. One can be proud of one's country as it stands for the things of God. And one can be proud of the talents and abilities that God has given.

But there is a sin of pride, as well. It is a self-centeredness. It is arrogance and boastfulness. It is putting oneself above others. It is rebelliousness against all authority - against all rules of behavior and fairness.
