Kysek, a popular cooler company, acquired the business KC kayaks which were known for producing high end fishing and hunting kayaks. My friend Rex from ActionHat paddled a KC kayak for several years. I always thought his KC kayaks were nice. Kysek now rebranded the KC kayak and has since then made some refinements. The kayak is foam injected much like Kysek's coolers. This makes the hull stiffer, more stable to stand on, and ensures it won't likely sink even if capsized. The fit and finish of the K12 is very nice and has everything you need while nothing you don't need. The long tracks for the seat also double as points to add mounts like rod holders from all the popular brands (Scotty, YakAttack, Yakgear, Railblaza, Ram, etc). The rear of the K12 has a V-Lock transom mount that makes mounting a trolling motor easy. The kayak is even prewired for a trolling motor so you can keep your deck clean.
