Special U.N. rapporteur on torture: "How far have we sunk if we prosecute people that expose war crimes for exposing war crimes, how far have we sunk if we do not prosecute anymore our own war criminals?"

Nils Melzer is a Swiss legal scholar, diplomat, as well as author, and was appointed Special Rapporteur on Torture by the United Nations Human Rights Council as of November 1, 2016.
